History

Henry Dixon and George Godber co-founded Matterley, a value focused investment management boutique, in August 2008.

In August 2009, Matterley joined Charles Stanley & Co. Limited, an independently owned stockbroking and investment management group. Charles Stanley has been a member of the London Stock Exchange since 1852. Its strong, net cash balance sheet combined with £12.1bn* FUM and thirty-two offices throughout the country provides an excellent platform to grow the Funds business while maintaining a differentiated investment process and philosophy. Further to this, Matterley benefits from the provision of compliance, IT and legal services from Charles Stanley.
